Where would I be without family and friends?

Picture:  With my Mother

We’ve had a whirlwind trip this last week to the upper regions of the the North Island to visit friends and family.  Since then I’ve had some time to  reflect on what gifts are in my everyday life.   My Mum is in her late 80’s and is vibrant and active with her interests. I also got to spend some quality time with my brother and 2 sisters.  Friends, well what can I say.  No expectations, no frills and acceptance of who I am.
What I do know is that each and every one of them is unique in their own right, that although diversely different from the other they reflect a part of self.   Its the true value of supportive friends and family that bring heartwarming results.  With their love and support I feel nurtured and together.  It is through their values that I can go beyond the perimeter and have positive relationships with others in all areas of my life.  Confidence in who I am and connected, because my family and friends accept me for who I am.  Thats says something very special about them doesn’t it..
So this week my thoughts and feelings are about having appreciation for our loved ones.  Love and blessings to you all
